The man driving the car next to me acted like a maniac. He didn’t appear to need help. But something was wrong.

He rapidly turned his hand, as if trying to convince me to let down my window. No way. I wasn’t interested.

Back in the day, while driving down the street, guys often tried to convince me to pull over. That never seemed like a wise thing to do. Once, while stopped at a red light, a man bumped my car. I got out to assess the damage. Thankfully, there was none. He said he did it to get my attention. Then he asked me for a date.

Some ladies might think that’s cute. For me, that’s too aggressive.

Another time, back in the day, a police officer knocked on my house door. He said he saw me drive by him. Because he wanted to get to know me, he ran my tags, and came to my house. I didn’t like it. That’s also too aggressive.

The overly enthusiastic man in the car next to me honked like he was a train, and I was on his track. He almost sideswiped me when he pulled into my lane. He was more determined to get my attention than the rear end bumper dude and the police officer.

I grabbed the steering wheel with both hands as I thought about reaching for my phone to snap pictures of him, his car, and his plates.
