A few years ago, it was much harder to find books by Black authors anywhere. To increase sells, which meant not having your books hidden in the Black section, some authors hid their race. Personally, I wouldn't need my books featured in February. I'd like to think of myself as a relevant author any month of the year--if I had a book on the market. (But I understand why people like special displays)
