NewsBreak Comments Provide What You Need Daily

Many writers advise you to ignore the comments section of NewsBreak. I’m glad I ignored their advice this time.

Stories about mean and hurtful comments on NewsBreak articles scared me. I read numerous posts that caution writers, saying people who comment over there take it to the lowest of the low. So, I distanced myself from them… until today.

A Kristen Walters’ story caught my attention. When I read her story, 21 hours after publishing, it already had 817 comments. That’s super! In comparison, I’ve posted three local news stories on NewsBreak. Combined, they have a whopping total of 0 comments. Yep, three stories and three goose eggs.

I wonder if my fear of comments has anything to do with not receiving any. Hmm.

Anyway, 817 comments in 21 hours — ah-maze-zing!

The humor in her comments wasn’t what I expected from NewsBreak

One thing I can say about NewsBreak’s comments… Political speech isn’t as censored as it is in some places. That’s refreshing. It’s like seeing full-face smiles again.

Although some of the political comments made me burst out laughing, I’ll refrain from sharing those with you…
