Food and beverage companies are busy dreaming up concoctions to excite your taste buds. When actually, the creations might make you lose your appetite.

They hope the infusion of unexpected ingredients into ice cream, wine, and breakfast cereal will cause you to lick your lips and buy them all.

How does Grey Poupon Wine sound to you? Imagine relaxing and sipping on a glass of wine infused with mustard seeds.

When I think of mustard, I think of hot dogs. When I think of hot dogs, I think of beer. But Grey Poupon “markets itself as America’s classy mustard,” the Dijon mustard for high society. Perhaps that’s why Kraft Heinz infused mustard seeds into wine instead of steeping them in beer.

La Moutarde Vin is a “Full-bodied Voignier 2020 — which is the first-ever wine to not only be infused with Grey Poupon’s mustard seeds but also literally contain the seeds in the bottle — is said to offer ‘bright hints of spice and pronounced citrus and floral characteristics, balanced by vibrant acidity,’” according to Food and Wine.

I know you want to rush out for a bottle of this fine wine. Unfortunately, it sold out in a day. Hopefully…
