Journaling every day has major benefits. But you suffer major consequences if you do it wrong.

Daily journaling has a dark side.

It’s thought of as a tool to clear your mind. It’s supposed to help you reach your goals and maximize your potential.

But you receive none of the benefits if you do it the way I did. Instead, the practice becomes detrimental to your creativity and your quality of life.

For several years, I tried not to whine and complain aloud. So, I poured my thoughts and feelings into journals. And for several years, my frustration, aggravation, and disappointments intensified.

I am 100 percent certain that daily journaling fed every one of my problems.
